Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sand Blaster to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, washing, and sand blasting agricultural equipment and components to prepare them for the painting process. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically fit, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Wash Industrial parts and equipment prior to surface preparation.
* Lift, move, and handle parts weighing approximately 15–25 kg safely.
* Operate sand blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, dirt, and other surface contaminants.
* Prepare metal components for painting by ensuring surfaces meet quality standards.
* Inspect parts before and after sand blasting to ensure proper surface finish.
Requirements
* Previous experience in sand blasting, industrial painting, or manufacturing is considered an asset.
* Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 15–25 kg on a regular basis.
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and PPE requirements.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good communication skills and a positive work ethic.
Work Environment:
* Manufacturing facility producing agricultural equipment.
* Standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
* Use of PPE including respirator, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe safety boots as required.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
