Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse - Endoscopy
Contract: Shift Schedule (based on operational needs): Day/Evening shifts

Panacea Clinic is the registered trademark in Ontario, Canada, established in 2023 based on the vision to improve healthcare delivery and reduce waiting time for selective procedures in the province.
Panacea Clinic is 17,000 sq ft facility which includes 2 large operating rooms, 2 minor procedures rooms, 2 endoscopy units, a PACU, an MDR, a physiotherapy department and subspecialty clinics. Various Surgical specialty procedures will be performed. The facility is designed carefully to maximize the space utilization and to meet the latest SOPs and best practice to ensure quality of services, and achieve patient safety.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care by managing workload efficiently, resolving issues respectfully, exercising sound clinical judgment, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment in alignment with patient and staff safety protocols. Other key duties include:
· Provide professional nursing care within the Endoscopy Department.
· Safely operate, maintain, and handle endoscopic and procedural equipment.
· Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms and condition changes.
· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
· Perform assigned duties and participate in special projects as required.
· Assist in minor procedure cases and understand sterile technique

Qualifications
· Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
· Valid BCLS certification (proof required upon hire).
· Minimum two years’ recent Endoscopy experience preferred.
· Proficient in endoscopy video equipment, IV therapy, IV push medication, and venipuncture.
· CNA Gastroenterology Nursing (CGN) certification preferred.
· Strong health assessment skills with crisis response ability.
· Skilled in patient and family education and communication.
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving skills as well as negotiation and conflict resolution skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check (satisfactory).
Hours: Monday to Sunday; Days & Evenings; Various rotating shifts
