Team Leader – Pressure Washing Operations

GBC Facility Services is seeking a dependable and hardworking Team Leader to oversee pressure washing operations for garbage chutes, compactor rooms, and waste management areas throughout residential and commercial properties in the Greater Toronto Area. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with experience in cleaning operations, facility maintenance, or pressure washing who can lead a crew and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise pressure washing crew on daily job assignments.
- Oversee cleaning operations for garbage chutes, compactor rooms, loading docks, and waste disposal areas.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Train team members on equipment operation, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
- Coordinate schedules, supplies, and equipment for assigned jobs.
- Communicate professionally with property managers and building staff.
- Complete service reports and document any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with hands-on cleaning and pressure washing as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pressure washing, janitorial services, industrial cleaning, or facility maintenance.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Must be physically capable of lifting equipment and working in demanding environments.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and cleaning procedures.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
