Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic patient care by utilizing osteopathic principles to diagnose, treat, and prevent musculoskeletal and related disorders. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The Osteopath will be responsible for delivering personalized treatment plans, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accurate case management documentation. Fluency in multiple languages, including Russian and/or Ukrainian, is highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations using medical terminology and analysis skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on manual therapy techniques, mechanical knowledge, and acute care practices.
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and other osteopathic techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Maintain detailed case management records via internal CRM (WalnutEMR) while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions utilizing excellent communication skills.
- Collaborate with other physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Assist in administrative duties related to patient scheduling, documentation, and organizational tasks requiring strong organizational skills.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in osteopathic medicine through professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as an Osteopath or equivalent credential in the relevant jurisdiction (please specify on your resume).
- Proven experience in out patient environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, case management, nursing practices, pediatrics, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as word processing software for documentation purposes.
- Multilingual abilities including fluency in Russian or Ukrainian are highly advantageous for serving diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly to patients of all ages.
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding equipment used during treatments.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
