Description of Labour Duties
- Responsible for successfully assisting in completing residential tree pruning and tree removals.
- Responsible for helping with site clean up, this includes: dragging brush, chipping brush, wood removal, raking, opperating small hand tools etc.
- Responsible for helping with the general maintenance of all equipment as well as inspecting the equipment and gear daily to ensure standards are met.
- Required to follow all safety measures and precautions to ensure the safety of himself/herself and all others on site.
Training, Skills and Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum G2-class license required
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs
- Willing to sometimes work more than 40 hours per week (Spring/Summer/Fall months are very busy and may require more than 40 hour weeks)
Additional Skills and Certifications
- Chainsaw Certification (preferred)
- WHIMIS (preferred)
- Experience working with skid steers (preferred)
