We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Bulk Sampler. In this role, you will conduct bulk asbestos and mold sampling at residential, commercial, and industrial properties while providing accurate documentation and professional client service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys field work, problem solving, and working independently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collecting bulk asbestos samples in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Collecting mold and microbial bulk samples from building materials.
- Performing site inspections and documenting sampling locations.
- Photographing site conditions and maintaining accurate field notes.
- Completing sample submission forms and maintaining chain of custody documentation.
- Preparing clear, concise, and accurate inspection and sampling reports.
- Communicating professionally with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Following all company health and safety policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Maintaining and calibrating field equipment as required.
- Assisting with additional environmental inspection and assessment work as needed.
Qualifications and Skills: Preferred
- WRT (Water Restoration Technician) and/or AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) certification.
- Experience with mold investigations or microbial assessments.
Required
- Knowledge of Alberta OH&S legislation and hazardous materials regulations.
- Experience conducting asbestos bulk sampling and inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written communication and report writing abilities.
- Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including attics, crawlspaces, and construction sites.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE and pass a respirator fit test.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
