Concrete Former
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced concrete form setters with experience in foundations. You will assist our team with the new construction of concrete foundations, prepping pour sites, and placing concrete and rebar. Most duties generally involve applying new foundations for for residential and commercial projects. You must know how to use construction equipment and tools and how to handle materials carefully. You must be willing to work in all types of weather. You will be required to drive to various job sites. We do work in Kingston, Odessa, Bath, Napanee, Belleville, Deseronto, Trenton and areas surrounding.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and set forms to specifications( Advanced, Peri)
- Pour and place concrete
- Cut, place and install rebar, expansion joints, etc.
- Dismantle concrete forms
- Reading Blueprints and layouts
- Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment.
- Clean up the worksite when the project is complete.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or GED certificate
- At least 2 years of experience with concrete forming( footings and walls)
- Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
- Drivers License and Vehicle
- A great attitude and a team player mentality
