Senior Assembler (Mechanical Systems)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Assembler – Mechanical Systems to join our production team. This is a hands-on role for an experienced assembler with strong mechanical skills, with hydraulict background, who can handle complex mechanical assemblies for industrial machinery.
This position plays a key role in assembling, fitting, aligning, and supporting the build of custom industrial equipment while working closely with the Shop Manager, Engineering, and other shop teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mechanical assembly of industrial machinery and equipment
- Fit, align, and assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies
- Support and guide junior assemblers on complex assembly tasks
- Perform drilling, grinding, cutting, and mechanical fitting
- Assemble mechanical systems and hydraulic components
- Read and work from mechanical drawings and work instructions
- Troubleshoot mechanical fit-up and assembly issues
- Collaborate with Welding, Machining, Painting, and Engineering teams
- Support new product builds and custom machinery projects
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of related experience in mechanical or industrial machinery assembly
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Experience with drills, grinders, cutting tools, fasteners, and power tools
- Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
knowledge of hydraulic systems (required)
- Basic electrical knowledge (asset)

Work Environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience(25-35$/hr)

Pay: $52,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
