Position function: Reporting to the Inventory Planning and Replenishment Supervisor of Caldic Canada Inc., the individual will be responsible to assist the Replenishment Team by supporting them with clerical responsibilities, data entry, generating timely reports, responding to supply chain requests and execution of Orders as needed.
Scope: The Jr. Replenisher will review, adjust and execute orders as needed; create reports that need to be generated and distributed in a timely manner; scan, save and file documents; schedule, trace and manage for outbound sales orders; monitor the replenishment general inbox; and assist the replenishment team with any clerical duties. This position requires cross communication with the Replenishment team and internal departments such as Customer Care, Production, Inventory Control, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Procurement, Pricing, IT and Logistics to ensure replenishment activities consistently meet customer needs across North America.
Major tasks and duties:
- Generate and put together daily and weekly reports for the Replenishment Team utilizing D365, Power BI, emailed updates and Microsoft Excel.
- Execute MRP activities within D365 for assigned items and vendors to determine items and quantities required to be reordered.
- Manage and track transfer orders requirements in D365.
- Execute purchase orders to vendors, coordinate logistics requirements and monitor the status of PO’s to ensure on time arrival.
- Support rush requests to meet customer requirements as needed.
- Communicate confirmed purchase orders for delivery with logistics carriers, validating and processing related documentation.
- Manage issues and exceptions with vendors and logistics service providers such as delivery discrepancies, damages, demurrage and other surcharges, pricing discrepancies, etc.
- Scan, save and file away Purchase Order receipts for documentation.
- Schedule outbound sales orders with bulk tanker carriers.
- Mange change control requests as required to maintain system master data.
- Support Buyers to maintain professional relationships with suppliers/vendors and third party logistics carriers.
- Monitor general inbox and provide responses in a timely manner.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the Inventory Planning and Replenishment Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, GMP’s and HACCP requirements
Knowledge/Skills & Experience:
- Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain Planning or working towards SCM Designation / Certificate.
- Experience in inventory planning, administrative, customer care and/or additional logistics experience is an asset.
- MRP Microsoft AX or D365 experience a definite asset.
- Must have advanced computer skills (Excel, Outlook)
- Must have effective Customer Service and interpersonal Skills
- Must have strong organization skills
- Must have strong communication (verbal and written) skills
