We are seeking a friendly and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Booking: Schedule patient appointments, ensuring smooth flow of bookings and efficient time management.
- Billing: Process patient billing, including billing extended health care benefits and insurance claims and following up on outstanding payments.
- Customer Service: Answer phone calls from patients, address inquiries, and providing exceptional service.
- Communication with Insurance Companies: Assist with communicating with insurance providers to ensure claims are processed correctly and promptly.
- General Administrative Support: Maintain patient records, update the scheduling system, and assist with other clerical tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a healthcare setting).
- Knowledge of medical billing, extended health care, and insurance processes.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or clinic management software.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
