Job Overview
Vancouver Waldorf School is seeking a Spanish teacher, beginning September 2026.
The ideal candidate brings fluency in Spanish, warmth and enthusiasm for teaching children, and familiarity with (or genuine curiosity about) Waldorf education, where language learning comes alive through songs, stories, verses, and movement.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons rooted in the Waldorf approach to world language teaching
- Bring language to life through song, storytelling, games, and cultural exploration
- Support students at varied levels of language ability
- Communicate with class teachers as needed regarding student progress
Skills
- Fluency in Spanish and experience teaching children; Waldorf training an asset but not required. Successful completion of a criminal record check is a condition of employment.
- Passion for education, patience, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Salary
$6,333 - $9,721 CAD / annually (0.11 FTE)
