AZ Float Driver
Location: Penetanguishene, ON (travel to various job sites throughout Ontario)

Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused AZ Float Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment to and from construction sites while assisting with equipment loading, securement, and occasional yard or site duties when not driving.
The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, and takes pride in operating equipment safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Transport heavy equipment using a float trailer to various job sites.
- Load, unload, and properly secure equipment in accordance with MTO regulations.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors regarding deliveries and schedules.
- Ensure all loads are transported safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and professional truck and trailer.
- Assist with equipment movements in the yard as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and provincial regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Experience hauling heavy equipment on float trailers.
- Knowledge of load securement requirements and MTO regulations.
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
- Ability to work occasional weekends when required.
