Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Industrial Chromer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves applying chrome coatings to various industrial components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with machining and assembly, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for chroming by cleaning, masking, and surface treatment.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and other machinery necessary for handling heavy parts.
- Apply chrome plating using specialized techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools to assist in component preparation and finishing.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure chrome coating meets specifications and standards.
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of parts as needed during the chroming process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial chromer or in a similar coating or finishing role within manufacturing.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, assembly, welding, and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks.
- Ability to work safely around machinery, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
