We are hiring for a Delivery Driver – Mobility Equipment:
This role requires someone who is comfortable working with seniors and individuals with disabilities, treating every client with patience, empathy, dignity, and respect. As one of the first people our clients meet, you will represent Congdon's commitment to exceptional customer service while helping improve the independence and quality of life of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities.
- Load, secure, transport, unload, and deliver mobility equipment, including power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, scooters, pediatric mobility equipment, walkers, rollators, lift chairs, and other rehabilitation equipment.
- Educate clients and caregivers on the safe operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Provide courteous, compassionate, and respectful service to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Complete pickups, exchanges, and returns of equipment.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Complete delivery documentation and obtain required signatures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customer service, and clinical staff regarding delivery status or concerns.
- Follow all company policies, workplace safety procedures, and Alberta traffic regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Experience driving delivery vehicles is preferred.
- Experience delivering medical equipment, furniture, appliances, or other large products is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to assemble equipment using basic hand tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable interacting with seniors and individuals with mobility challenges.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
