Being part of the operations team, the bolter operator has the function of carrying out the drilling and installation work of primary, secondary or specific field support, using a specialized drill.
- Respect safety standards at all times;
- Check the registers;
- Inspect his work environment at the beginning and end of the shift;
- Use and complete his work card throughout the shift;
- Complete the inspection and maintenance card for the equipment;
- Scale his work place before the start of his shift and as needed;
- Check the barricades and the state of the workplaces;
- Position the drill according to plans and specifications;
- Position your basket, if applicable;
- Handle drill rods;
- Handle field support equipment (bolts, wire mesh, etc.);
- Inspect the machinery at the end of the shift so that it is operational for the next shift;
- Complete the daily report at the end of the shift;
- Any other related tasks.

- Hold a valid explosive license;
- Have a high school diploma or other equivalent degree;
- Fluent in English is required.
