Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead our Health, Safety, and Compliance programs. This role is responsible for COR management, contractor compliance platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks), onboarding, and field safety execution.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both office coordination and field presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)
- Lead COR program, internal audits, and audit readiness
- Administer ISNetworld, Avetta, and ComplyWorks compliance platforms
- Oversee employee onboarding, training, and certification compliance
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations
- Review and approve HCPs, JHAs, JSAs, and Safe Work Procedures
- Lead incident investigations and ensure regulatory/client reporting compliance
- Track safety KPIs (TRIF, LTIR, training compliance, audit scores)
- Support supervisors and crews with high-risk work planning and controls
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a safety leadership role (construction, HVAC, or industrial)
- Strong experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, and/or ComplyWorks
- COR audit experience (NCSO or Auditor certification preferred)
- Solid understanding of Alberta OHS legislation and industry standards
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
