About the role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious individual to join our warehouse and fulfillment team.
As a Fulfillment Associate, you are responsible for ensuring inventory is accurately received, organized, picked, packed, and shipped. You will also support basic equipment assembly, inventory control, and warehouse maintenance.
This is a physically active, entry-level role that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, verify, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment or delivery
- Perform the first step of the pick-pack-ship process
- Prepare inventory for replenishment and cross-location transfers
- Ensure accuracy in all outgoing orders
Inventory Control
- Conduct physical and system-based inventory counts
- Receive, organize, and put away incoming stock
- Rotate, face, and replenish inventory in warehouse and retail areas
- Identify and process damaged, expired, or defective items
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces
- Keep aisles, exits, and storage areas clear
- Support stockroom and retail floor organization when needed
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and safety compliance
Equipment & Assembly
- Assemble healthcare equipment using basic hand and power tools
- Assist in cleaning and preparing rental or trial equipment
- Support light repair or disassembly of equipment when required (training provided)
Technology & Systems
- Learn and use Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
- Operate hand scanners and digital inventory systems
- Accurately track inventory movement and order status
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Fulfillment Supervisors and team members
- Support cross-department and cross-location operations
- Assist customers encountered in warehouse or retail areas
- Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team culture
Skills & abilities
- You are:
- Adaptable, dependable, and detail-oriented
You are also physically able to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Push or pull up to 100 lbs using carts or equipment
- Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently
- A strong communicator who follows instructions well
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Willing to learn new systems and technology
- Organized and focused on accuracy
- A cooperative and safety-minded team player
Education & experience
- High school diploma strongly preferred
- Warehouse, logistics, retail, or supply chain experience is an asset
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an asset
- Basic tool usage (hand and power tools) is an asset
- Forklift certification (sit-down and stand-up) is an asset
