Sales Consultant/Finance & Insurance Agent - Volkswagen Chatham
Volkswagen Chatham is expanding, and we're looking for a driven Sales Consultant/Finance & Insurance Agent to join our team!
This is a unique hybrid role that blends the excitement of frontline vehicle sales with the professional development opportunity of working in Finance & Insurance (F&I). You will primarily serve as an Automotive Sales Consultant, with cross-trained responsibilities as a fill-in F&I Associate. Full training will be provided for the F&I component of the role — what matters most is your drive to succeed in sales and your commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience.
Pay Range:

$50,000 - $100,000 Annually

This is a commission based compensation package, allowing you to earn more based on performance!
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
-
Greet and engage customers, understanding their vehicle needs and preferences

Present, demonstrate, and explain new and pre-owned Volkswagen vehicles

Guide customers through the vehicle selection and purchasing process

Develop and maintain a strong customer follow-up and referral pipeline
-
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and customer satisfaction benchmarks

Stay current on Volkswagen product knowledge, features, and incentive programs
Finance & Insurance (Fill-In):

Step into the F&I role as needed to support the dealership's business office

Present and explain financing options, warranties, and protection packages to customers

Prepare and process financing applications and sales documentation accurately

Ensure compliance with all provincial and dealership regulations in the F&I process

Work collaboratively with lenders and insurance providers to secure approvals
What We Look For:

Proven track record in automotive or retail sales — you know how to close

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage paperwork and processes accurately

Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers

F&I experience is an asset, but not required — we will train the right candidate
Professional, honest, and sensitive approach to representing the company
