Position Summary
We are seeking a safety-focused and experienced Raymond Swing Reach (Turret Truck) Operator to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating wire-guided Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) equipment to accurately store, retrieve, replenish, and move inventory within our high-density warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Raymond Swing Reach (Turret) Truck in a wire-guided Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) environment.
- Perform both pallet handling and case picking at heights up to 44 feet.
- Retrieve, store, replenish, and relocate inventory from high-bay racking.
- Complete put-away, replenishment, picking, and consolidation tasks according to operational priorities.
- Transport products safely throughout the warehouse while minimizing product damage.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS) instructions.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot numbers, and locations before completing transactions.
- Stage inventory for shipping, replenishment, or production as required.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning and transaction completion.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory investigations when required.
- Report inventory discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and complete required inspection reports.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain fall protection compliance while operating elevated equipment.
- Operate equipment safely around pedestrians and other material handling equipment.
- Immediately report equipment defects, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Raymond Swing Reach (Turret Truck) certification or equivalent VNA forklift certification.
- Valid Working at Heights/Fall Arrest certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Raymond Swing Reach equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience operating wire-guided Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) equipment.
- Experience working in racking systems up to 44 feet high.
- Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience using handheld RF scanners.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent spatial awareness and ability to work safely in confined spaces.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 44 feet for extended periods.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, reach, and climb throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when operationally required.
40 hrs week, OT after 44 hrs
Flexibility to work evening shift with a premium of $.50/hr
Flexibility to work Weekend if required.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
