Job Summary
Staff Plus is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Associate for our client in Ajax. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products consistently meet quality, safety, and customer standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location: Ajax, ON
Schedule: 12-Hour Continental Shifts (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights, every second weekend)
Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor product quality and collect data to identify trends, defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records.
- Work closely with production teams to investigate quality concerns and support corrective actions.
- Follow established quality assurance procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work 12-hour continental shifts, including rotating days and nights and every second weekend.
- Previous experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to accurately enter and track data.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate quality data.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing processes is considered an asset.
