Required Qualifications:
- Training in addictions counselling.
- Degree or certificate in one of the social services or health-related disciplines and at least 2 years of experience in the field, or the equivalent AIA certification or working towards same.
- In good standing with the regulatory body that governs individual certification.

- Understanding of Trauma informed approach
- Understanding of Concurrent disorders
- Understanding of medication assisted therapies
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-informed approaches and standards of practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario Mental Health Act (OMHA), Informed Consent, and best practices in Mental Health and Addictions.
- Demonstrated time management, prioritization, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated competency with computer skills.
- Excellent facilitation, coordination, assessment, and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to deal with difficult and conflicting situations.
