We are looking to fill the position of a Full-Time, Seasonal, Track Maintenance Worker at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor maintenance shop environment. You Will:
- Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
- Disassemble and reassemble Snowcat tracks including removal and replacement of worn and broken components
- Be responsible for inventory and parts used on each track
- Report any unseen track problems to Vehicle Maintenance
- Know and abide by RCR Policy and Procedures including Safety Management and Injury Management Programs
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
You Have:
- The ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Reliability
- Mechanical aptitude (required)
- Some experience using basic hand tools
- Physical capability and are able to work outside
*Please note that set days of employment cannot be guaranteed. Schedules will be set as per business level needs. Shift schedule 4 days x 10hrs.
