Budtender - Sales Associate
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals for the position of Budtender. As a Budtender you will use your extensive cannabis product and accessory knowledge to guide guests to the most appropriate product for them. You are responsible for providing an exceptional and personal guest experience for all guests while complying with store policies, standards and regulations. You will be responsible for assisting the management team with store operations, product presentation and cleanliness as well. As a budtender you are the most visible and available for our guests, you are the heart of our guest experience.
Responsibilities

- Create an educational and exciting experience for all guests regardless of their experience

Advise and make recommendations for guests on suitable cannabis products and accessories based on their unique needs

Answer guest questions and concerns

Educate on the safe use of cannabis

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all strains and product in store inventory as well as the industry as a whole Understand and keep up with industry trends
- Use digital technology to assist guests and complete their experience
- Ensure compliance in all transactions
- Assist in preparing the store for guests – cleaning, restocking, organizing etc
- Assist in closing the store for the day – cleaning, collecting & removing garbage etc.

Assist with ongoing maintenance of sales floor to include stocking, merchandising and cleaning

Adhere to and uphold all store and company policies and procedures

Maintain an in-depth knowledge and be able to act in accordance with regulations set out by the AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario)

Qualifications & Requirements

In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, accessories and consumption methods

Retail or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication skills

Must be 19+ years of age
- Must pass and present required background check
CannSell certified prior to start date *must provide up to date copy of certification

Availability
- Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as required by changing needs of business

Shift times between 8am-11pm

Part time (under 20hrs)
- Full time (20+ hrs)
- available to work at other locations within the area should it be required
Compensation
Paid hourly - $16-18/hour
