We are hiring - again! We are looking to hire delivery drivers; preferably with a minimum of 3 years driving experience; to join our Sydney, NS branch. Roles and Responsibilities:
· Operate Company vehicle to deliver customer orders in a safe and courteous manner in and around the Sydney and Sydney Mines area.
· Load and unload deliveries.
· Provide an exceptional customer service to our clients.
· Performs all delivery duties using safe driving habits including defensive driving skills.
· Pick up returns at customer's place of business.
· The physical demands of the job include the ability to continuously stand or walk, the ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently up to 50 pounds or more
· Represent the Company in a professional manner.
· Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Minimum High School Diploma education or equivalency.
· A valid driver’s Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract must be maintained and is a requirement.
· Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
· A Police Criminal Record Check acceptable to the company is a requirement.
· A three-month probationary period must be worked before full time permanent status applies.
· Commercial driving experience or previous delivery experience would be an asset.
Language: Fluent in English spoken and written.
