Job Overview
We are looking for compassionate and experienced Night Nurses to provide overnight care for newborns and infants. As a Night Nurse with Swaddle, you will support families by ensuring their baby’s needs are met throughout the night, allowing parents to get much-needed rest.
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care for newborns and infants, including feeding, burping, diaper changes, and soothing techniques
- Monitor and track infant sleep patterns, feeding schedules, and any changes in behavior
- Support breastfeeding or bottle-feeding parents, following their preferred routine
- Ensure a safe sleep environment following current safe sleep guidelines
- Offer guidance and education to parents on infant care as needed
Qualifications
✅ Experience as a Night Nurse, Postpartum Doula, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or equivalent role in newborn care
✅ Knowledge of newborn care best practices, safe sleep guidelines, and infant development
✅ CPR & First Aid Certification (Neonatal or Infant CPR preferred)
✅ Strong communication skills and ability to provide reassurance and support to parents
✅ Ability to work independently and follow family preferences and routines
