Overview
We are seeking a skilled AZ Truck Driver to join our team, operating between Toronto and Montreal. This role involves long-distance freight transportation with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks along designated routes between Toronto and Montreal, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary, ensuring secure handling of goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
- Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel for timely pickups and deliveries
- Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations throughout each shift
Experience
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Proven experience in freight transportation over long distances, preferably between Toronto and Montreal
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is highly desirable
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics is a plus
- Experience in commercial driving, including adherence to Hours of Service regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
