Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in food service and hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the food industry. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed in all aspects of service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order fulfillment and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience, including addressing guest inquiries or concerns
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing bills accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Prior experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory
