Initial Term: From June 22, 2026, to February 26, 2027, with possible extension.
Existing Vacancy: Parental leave coverage.
Target Compensation: From $24 per hour to $30 per hour, according to experience.
Regular Work Hours: From 9 am to 5 pm, not including .5-hour unpaid lunch break (7.5 work hours per day), Monday to Friday (37.5 work hours per week). Summer hours are in effect between July 1, 2026, and September 4, 2026, with office open Monday to Thursday (30 work hours per week). Regular 37.5 hour Monday to Friday schedule resumes after Labour Day.
Work Location: 100% onsite at client's mid-town Toronto office, near TTC station.
Onsite Dress Code: Corporate or Business Casual according to Client business requirements.
Position Reports To: Client Services Manager.
Responsibilities Summary:
Work with a small dynamic team to coordinate daily administrative support and front desk operations, providing a superb customer service and administrative support experience.
- Provide administrative support for general office and reception desk functions, including receiving and sending mail and courier deliveries, receiving and forwarding phone calls and taking messages, and receiving and welcoming visitors.
- Prepare, review and file new client applications and administer other account processes.
- Receive and forward incoming client service requests, ensuring a thorough, accurate and timely response and overall client satisfaction.
- Additional administrative, clerical, reception and customer service responsibilities as required, executed to the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Education: Post Secondary education.
Preferred Work Experience: Approximately 2+ years of corporate office administration and reception experience from a professional services environment.
Preferred Sector Experience: Financial industry knowledge preferred.
Technical and Language Skills Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams (will be tested).
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat (pdf) (will be tested).
- Expert level alpha numeric data entry and attention to detail (will be tested).
- Strong Level English written and reading comprehension skills including strong business writing skills, excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading and syntax.
- Expert Level English conversational skills suitable for a diverse range of audiences including senior leadership and polished, professional telephone manners.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request.
- Ability to work 100% onsite, abiding by organization health and safety policies.
- Ability to promptly provide 3 qualified employment references upon request, who are available to speak with either Marberg or Marberg's client.
- Ability to declare personal Non-Conflict of Interest in execution of assignment responsibilities.
- Provision of certification of AODA and OHSA online training course completion prior to assignment start.
- Satisfactory Background Checks including a Criminal Background Check, Financial History Check, Technical Skills Evaluations, Interpersonal Skills Assessment, Social Media Check, and additional Employment References as required.
