Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to support the growth and expansion of Finova Financial Group. The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, building strong professional relationships, and contributing to overall company growth.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication, networking, sales, or relationship-building skills who are looking for an opportunity with unlimited earning potential and long-term career growth. You will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, conducting outreach, promoting our services, and helping expand our client base throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business leads through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship-building efforts
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities within the local market
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Promote Finova Financial Group’s bookkeeping, accounting, and financial services
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and growth opportunities
- Develop tailored presentations and proposals based on client needs
- Maintain organized records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM systems or tracking tools
- Consistently work toward achieving performance and referral targets
- Represent the company professionally at networking events, business meetings, and community engagements
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
- Self-motivated, professional, and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous experience in business development, sales, customer service, or account management is considered an asset but not required
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and professionals
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or financial services is beneficial
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be located in or near Calgary, Alberta

Important Information
Please note that this is a independent contractor position during the probationary period. Compensation is entirely performance-based, and earnings will depend on your ability to generate qualified business leads and client referrals.
However, depending on your professionalism, consistency, and overall performance during the 6-month probationary period, there may be opportunities to transition into a position offering $20/hour plus additional commission incentives.
