Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, project management, and customer relationship management, with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. You will work closely with the Sales Director to develop strategies that enhance business objectives and foster long-term relationships with clients.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and partners
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and reporting on performance metrics
- Lead project management efforts for new initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals
- Prepare presentations and proposals for potential clients, showcasing our services
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of international shipping and logistics is a plus
- Logistics sales experience
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing customer interactions and sales processes
- Proven track record in business development with a focus on building lasting client relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
