Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including meal preparation, cooking, and barista duties if applicable
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
- Follow food safety protocols and health regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen procedures, food preparation, serving, and cashiering enhances performance in this role
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential
- Background in hotel or guest services, barista work, or meal preparation can be beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is desirable
