Mechanical assembler required for a
Mississauga manufacturing company.
We are looking for a fulltime reliable person to join our team of multi talented individuals.
Job duties include:
- Assembly of subcomponents.
- Equipment painting (spray)
- Final assembly of equipment
- Ensuring component fit and quality of all products
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Ability to read assembly drawings
- Pneumatic system assembly
- Pack finished tested assemblies, applying appropriate labeling and packaging materials
- Maintain inventory of components making use of the kanban card system to ensure inventory accuracy
- shipping and receiving
Skills required / preferred:
- The ability to work from basic drawings
- Measure and align drive belts ect.
- Operate small power and hand tools (electric drill etc.)
- ability to paint (spray)
- Operate a forklift
- Mechanically inclined and detailed oriented
- Ability to clearly understand verbal and written instructions.
- Must be self-directed and resourceful, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
Safety wear are required
Forklift driver's license a benefit.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
