Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various construction tasks. This role requires proficiency in operating skid steers and other heavy machinery to ensure efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
- Operate mini excavator and skid steers other heavy equipment considered a asset
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with skid steers and mini excavators.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
- Familiarity with detailed excavation and fine grading preferred
- Commercial driving experience and class 3 license is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction practices and safety regulations.
