About the Role
We're a growing residential construction company based in Muskoka, and we're looking for a solid, reliable tradesperson to join our crew full-time.
You'll spend your days working under the direction of a project lead, doing real hands-on work across framing, finishing, concrete, and general carpentry. You don't need to know how to run a job, that's not this role. What we need is someone who shows up on time, works hard, takes direction well, and does quality work without needing every little thing explained twice.
This is a great fit for someone who's put in a few years on tools already, knows their way around a jobsite, and wants steady, year-round work with a company that will keep teaching them and give them room to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out day-to-day tasks assigned by a project lead: framing, finish carpentry, concrete forming, exterior/interior finishing, general repairs
- Following plans and instructions accurately, and asking questions when something isn't clear
- Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Helping load/unload materials and keep the site running smoothly
- Picking up new skills across different trades as the work requires it
- Letting your lead know about any issues, delays, or things that don't look right
- Using our internal software to clock in/out and log your daily progress
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience (residential preferred)
- Solid all-around tool skills - comfortable across a few different trades, not just one
- A good work ethic and the ability to take direction without needing to be babysat
- Basic understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools
- WHMIS / working at heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Based in or willing to commute within the Muskoka region
- Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for basic job tracking and clocking in/out
Pay & Growth
We're offering steady, year-round work and a clear path forward as you build up your skills.
- Starting range: $25–$35/hour, depending on experience and what you bring on day one
- Growth path: Regular wage reviews as your skills and reliability grow, with the opportunity to move into a Site Lead role down the line for the right person
- We'll keep putting you on different tasks and trades so you keep building a well-rounded skillset
Why Join Us
- Year-round, consistent work, no seasonal layoffs
- A company that invests in its people and wants to see you grow into more responsibility over time
- You'll be working alongside experienced leads who'll teach you as you go, not just leave you to figure it out
- We're actively building out a formal perks and benefits package for the 2027 season -joining now means growing with the company as that comes together
