Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units with asphalt oil tankers
- Load and unload asphalt oil
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete daily hazard assessment and electronic hours of service using Samsara and SiteDocs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
- Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues promptly
Requirements
- Applicants must have a valid Class 1 Driver’s License and drivers abstract with less than 6 demerits according to company policy.
- Must have previous experience operating a Asphalt Oil Tanker
- Experience hauling asphalt oil or liquid materials is an asset
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically capable of handling hoses and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Employees must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
