WE ARE HIRING "Specialist - Auto Parts Logistics"
Position Summary:
As the Specialist of the Auto Parts Logistics Team, your primary responsibilities revolve around delivering exceptional customer service to subsidiaries and automotive clients while ensuring the highest standards of service quality. This includes optimizing transaction and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and service support, monitoring and tracking shipment status for new business accounts, providing timely updates to clients, and supporting overall logistics operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Support implementation of new customer SOPs and operational processes.
- Participate in customer meetings and internal project meetings as required.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Procurement
- Maintain and update vendor database, rate sheets, and procurement records.
- Monitor vendor performance and escalate service issues when necessary.
- Compare carrier quotations and support cost analysis for transportation services.
Operations
- Communicate shipment status, delays, and issues promptly to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and overseas offices to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal operating systems.
- Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support freight invoice verification and operational cost control.
- Prepare operational reports and KPI performance reports as required.
- Assist with claims, cargo damage, and service issue investigations.
Education / Certification / License:
- HS Diploma / G.E.D is required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in logistics operation is required.
- Extensive experience in the logistics/automotive industry is preferred.
Competencies:
- Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work overnight occasionally to collaborate with Head Quarter, South Korea.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to build sales strategies to achieve business.
- Ability to multi-task with efficient time management skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
