Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, improve patient outcomes, and work within a multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, pain management, and acute care settings, with experience in hospital and home care environments. Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records such as Avaros and Oscar medical office procedures is essential. This position emphasizes collaborative patient-centered care, data collection, and medication administration to support recovery and quality of life for diverse patient populations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients requiring physical medicine and rehabilitation services
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing functional independence
- Manage acute care cases with a focus on pain management strategies and rehabilitation protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, nurses, and specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records systems such as Avaros and Oscar.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for adverse effects, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collect clinical data to track treatment efficacy and support research initiatives when applicable
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, home care strategies, and ongoing therapy needs
- Participate in research activities related to physical medicine or rehabilitation advancements when required
- Assist in training staff or interns in medical procedures or documentation practices
Experience
- Prior hospital experience in physical medicine or rehabilitation is highly preferred
- Proven experience in pain management, acute care settings, or pediatrics enhances candidacy
- Demonstrated ability to manage patient care effectively across diverse clinical environments including home care settings
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation medicine is essential
- Experience working with electronic health records systems such as Avaros and Oscar is desirable
- Background in medical office operations, data collection, medication administration, and research activities is advantageous
- Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care are vital for success in this role

- 1-2 Years Experience Working As A Physician

- Full-time position 40 Hours Per Week.
Pay: From $125.00 per hour
