First General Services Sudbury Inc. is a locally owned and operated restoration contractor serving Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas for over 25 years. We specialize in emergency response and insurance restoration services related to fire, water, wind, storm, mould, and other property damage claims. Our team is committed to delivering quality workmanship, strong customer service, and timely support during difficult situations.
We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager Assistant to join our team. This role plays an important part in supporting Project Managers, coordinating projects, assisting with customer service, and helping ensure jobs move efficiently from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to multitask in a fast paced environment, and works well both independently and as part of a team. Previous construction, restoration, insurance, or administrative experience is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration
- Support estimating, scheduling, work orders, and file documentation
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff
- Update files and documentation within company systems and insurer platforms
- Assist with ordering materials, coordinating trades, and tracking project progress
- Assist with site inspections, measurements, and photo documentation
- Help ensure projects are completed efficiently and with a high level of customer service
- Participate in the after hours emergency response rotation as required
- Support team operations and assist with additional administrative or project related tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Professional and customer service oriented attitude
- Construction or restoration industry experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience with Xactimate or XactAnalysis is considered a strong asset
- Valid driver’s license is required

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
