Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing recommendations when needed
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management
- Ensure all food handling and serving procedures adhere to food safety regulations and best practices
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality standards
- Experience using POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining high-quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices in serving, hospitality, and food safety regulations
