Position: Storefront Associate – Cover (with Growth Opportunities)

At ChicksX Crypto and Currency Exchange, we are redefining the customer experience in both digital and traditional currency exchange. We operate in a fast-paced, trust-driven environment and are looking for a reliable, mature, and customer-focused professional to support our Mississauga storefront as a cover associate.
This role is ideal for someone seeking hands-on retail and financial experience in a growing industry.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
- Handle cash, crypto, and currency exchange transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a safe, professional, and trustworthy experience for every client.
- Apply basic math skills to calculate transactions quickly and correctly.
- Support daily store operations, including paperwork, record-keeping, and maintaining a clean, professional environment.
- Cover shifts as needed, demonstrating reliability and strong teamwork.
- Assist with basic sales reporting and transaction tracking.
Growth Opportunities (Optional, Based on Interest & Performance)
- Support supplier sourcing and store setup improvements.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, events, and customer outreach.
- Contribute ideas to business expansion, internal processes, or hiring strategies.
- Use Discord experience to support online community moderation, answer FAQs, or connect with customers digitally.
Note: These opportunities are optional and not required for the role, but available for those interested in growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- High attention to detail, especially when handling cash.
- Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages).
- Professional attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience using Discord in a business or community setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Not currently enrolled as a student (students will not be considered).
- Ability to commit to the required schedule (part-time or full-time availability considered).
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
