Are you creative, social media savvy, and passionate about creating engaging content? We're looking for a Marketing & Social Media Content Creator Assistant to join our team!
Redfern Enterprises sells innovative home, health, and relaxation products across Canada and the USA, and participates in over 350 trade shows and events each year. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and e-commerce.
As the Marketing & Social Content Creator Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Assist with planning and scheduling social media content calendars.
- Assist with website content updates, including banners, product pages, blog posts, and promotional campaigns.
- Help create and optimize product listings by writing product descriptions, uploading images and videos, and ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
- Support e-commerce marketing initiatives across our website, Amazon, and other online marketplaces.
- Support website, e-commerce, and product marketing initiatives.
- Conducting research to identify trends and optimize marketing strategies.
- Utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and SEO techniques to analyze performance and enhance visibility.
- Supporting e-commerce initiatives and contribute to product management efforts.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and organization of marketing projects.
- Assist with trade show marketing and event promotion when required.
We require the following qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a similar role or environment;
- Creative and passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Comfortable appearing in videos and creating content for social media platforms.
- Familiar with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Knowledgeable about current social media trends and content formats.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- A strong written and verbal communicator.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools (an asset).
- Familiar with Google Analytics, SEO, and digital marketing concepts (an asset).
The required qualifications for this role include a qualification in Marketing or related field, experience with event planning & customer service, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel), strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent written & verbal communication skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a student, or recent graduate looking for experience, to work starting soon till September or can possibly go longer.
