What impact will you have as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ÉTS?
The successful candidate will contribute to a research program aimed at pushing the limits of electromechanical energy conversion systems by investigating how interactions among power electronic converters, electrical machines, and control strategies govern conventional trade-offs between efficiency, power density, noise, reliability, and durability. The research will seek to identify the most influential interactions and leverage this knowledge to overcome current limitations of electric propulsion systems and develop transportation electrification technologies that are more efficient, affordable, and sustainable.
The program also promotes the use of advanced numerical methods, multiphysics models, and artificial intelligence to accelerate the understanding and optimization of electromechanical energy conversion systems.
Beyond their own research activities, the successful candidate will play an active role in the development of the group's scientific program and in the mentoring and supervision of graduate students. We are seeking a curious and ambitious individual interested in advancing an integrated scientific vision of converter–machine systems and their role in sustainable transportation electrification.
