Hammer's Heating & Cooling is seeking a dependable and motivated HVAC Apprentice to become part of our growing team. If you have at least one year of residential HVAC experience and are eager to expand your skills alongside experienced technicians, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do
As an HVAC Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced team members on a variety of residential and light commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the installation, servicing, and repair of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Supporting the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance to help ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues with guidance from senior technicians and completing repairs as assigned.
- Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to assist with installations and troubleshooting.
- Assisting with piping, equipment setup, and occasional fabrication or welding when required.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area while following company safety standards.
- Recording completed work, materials used, and service details accurately.
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of residential HVAC experience.
- Two or more years of experience is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to continue learning.
- Familiarity with HVAC equipment, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- HVAC schooling, apprenticeship registration, or related certifications are considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
