We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC brake press machines to shape metal components according to precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality parts while adhering to safety standards and production deadlines. Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate, and troubleshoot CNC hydraulic press brakes
- Complete work according to Forming schedule or as instructed by Supervisor
- Process parts according to instructions listed on Forming work order/drawings
- Perform material handling activities manually and using overhead crane
- Perform required equipment, safety, and quality inspections
- Complete necessary paperwork when required
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report maintenance issues as needed
- Comfortable working in an ISO 14001:2015
Qualifications:
- Must have 1 - 3yrs of experience in manufacturing
- Experience with heavy steel fabrication rather than light sheet metal
- Experience operating brake presses such as Accurpress, Bystronic, Cincinnati, Amada, Trumpf, Durma, LVD, or Ermaksan is an asset
- Ability to safely handle large steel components using overhead cranes or other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings
- Knowledge of carbon steel grades and features
- Must have overhead crane experience or certified
- Must be able to work on afternoons and overtime

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
