Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role is vital in delivering a satisfying breakfast experience to our guests and supporting the overall operation of our restaurant.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, bacon, and other menu offerings
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Serve guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent food service
- Assist in food preparation for other meal periods as needed
- Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized throughout shifts
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Kitchen experience with meal preparation and food industry best practices preferred
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed to support restaurant operations
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
