Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 310S Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles operating smoothly.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret schematics and mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot complex issues accurately.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when handling engine components or other vehicle parts requiring significant strength.
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly during repairs or upgrades, ensuring all parts meet safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, document repair procedures, and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy machinery, power tools, and welding equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and answering any questions professionally.
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques and the use of schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
