About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to support a private downtown Toronto residence. This is a great opportunity for someone who values independence, takes pride in their work, and appreciates being well-compensated for doing things right.
This position involves a mix of household cleaning and light errands. No cooking is required. The ideal candidate works efficiently without supervision and lives or works within 15 minutes of the location.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Tasks
- General cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Bathroom and kitchen cleaning
- Laundry (clothing, towels, linens), light shoe care, closet organization
- Light organizing and home tidying
- Seasonal outdoor tasks (sweeping porch, clearing leaves, etc.)
Errands & Household Support
- Restocking household essentials (e.g., coffee, water, snacks)
- Running small errands (e.g., dry cleaning, small item pickups)
- Reporting any home maintenance needs or low inventory
Who You Are
- Experienced in residential cleaning or hospitality
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of personal space
- Independent and able to manage your tasks without oversight
- Comfortable with small errands and handling simple household needs
- Good communicator with fluency in English
- Driver’s license and car is a plus, but not required
