SALARY RANGE: $113,580-$134,734
Reporting to the Director, Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Manager will oversee the development, management, evaluation and continuous improvement of quality patient care services. This position will encompass a number of outpatient mental health and addiction programs. The Manager is accountable to coordinate the day-to-day activities of the departments to facilitate quality care, education, research, human resources management, fiscal management and leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- Undergraduate Degree in a Regulated Healthcare Profession or Social Services Discipline, Masters preferred
- Current registration with a health professional regulatory body
- Experience in delivery of complex mental health and/or addiction programming both within an inpatient and outpatient setting
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Minimum 2-5 years management and/or project management experience in a hospital setting or community development
- Experience in capacity-building and collaborative partnership development
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Highly developed interpersonal presentation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time and resources
- Ability to collaborate with other regional healthcare partners and build business relationships with senior executives
- Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people such as physicians, senior management, colleagues and clinical/technical staff
- Overall commitment to the quality of patient care as well as customer service
- Valid (class G) driver’s license, ability to travel (to outreach communities), reliable and insurable vehicle
- Available for regular assignment of Hospital Administrator On-Call responsibilities (assigned on a rotating basis to cover evenings and weekends)
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
