POSITION PROFILE:
- Provide individual 1:1 and small group based ABA intervention to clients, on site or in the community (homes, camp, daycares etc. at the discretion of the Director Team)
- On site location: 1490 Major Mackenzie Drive West
- Maintain written records (i.e.- communication books)
- Data collection—monitor the client’s progress through detailed, valid data collection
- Flexible with methods of teaching
- Being adaptable to each individual child’s needs and program
- Involves working flexible hours: Monday- Friday 8:00- 6:00pm
- Participate in Team meetings/Professional Development
- Participate in frequent performance reviews/ongoing feedback and training Toileting/changing clients as required
- G-class license and access to a vehicle, or willingness to travel by public transportation for out of center sessions
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
- Degree/Diploma in a related field (i.e.- psychology, social work, early childhood education, child development, Bachelor of Education)
- CPR/First Aid Training (asset)
- Current Police Check (Vulnerable Sector)
