Green Earth Soil Management is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team.
The main role will focus on sewer and water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating excavators and be comfortable running other heavy equipment including dozers, skid steers, and loaders when required.
Responsibilities include:
- Sewer and watermain installation
- Bulk excavating
- Site grading
- Rough and final grade work
- Trenching and general excavation work
- Material handling and site preparation
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years heavy equipment operating experience
- Main line / underground utility experience is required
- Strong experience operating excavators safely and efficiently
- Experience around sewer, watermain, and underground infrastructure projects
- Ability to read grades and work with site crews effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- AZ/DZ license is an asset but not required
